Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin, born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt who worked as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids helped Martin to get her a character in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness and landed roles on the small and large screen. Martin has a background as an actor, in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer, has been in the business for the past 20 years. Since she is a mother of two kids, she's become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. She has also promoted awareness of this disease ever since her younger sister passed away in the age of 19.
